REBLOG IF YOU’RE A NSFW BLOG

We all have seen the Tumblr communicate about forbidding nsfw blogs or those which have “adult” posts.

They think it won’t cause them any harm, but we are a really big part of the community. Let’s act and tell the staff that tumblr will slowly die after taking this decision. Follow these steps:

• First of all, REBLOG THIS POST, so any NSFW blog can post and see it.
• Give tumblr the worst mark at the App Store or Play Store
• Write a negative comment about how they’re banning accounts and censoring the freedom of expression.
• Purpose as a comment below a new site to move as a NSFW community.

If you do this before the 17 of December, we can change this decision. Let’s make the staff hear us. Make tumblr great again, a free place for free minds and free content!!

Personally, I enjoyed every single moment here at tumblr, and I appreciate everyone of my followers and blogs that I follow. If they delete my account… It was a pleasure to know you all. But we can still change this!!!

A niche blog but with 13k followers. You won’t erase us.

It’s a long shot but I’m still holding out hope tumblr will back down at some point considering that at least from what I’ve seen a vast majority of responses to the announcement have been negative. I also saw that Verizon’s (tumblr’s parent company) stock tumbled (pun not intended) after the announcement. I am 95% certain that if tumblr follows through with the ban and enforces it, the site will die. We’ll see if tumblr execs think it is worth risking losing millions of users just to save face from the whole child porn/app store removal thing.

Well, they did it.

They finally fucking did it.

Tumblr is banning all adult material on this website so, against my wishes, this blog’s days are numbered (to be precise, a little under two weeks). Honestly this could spell the death of the platform in general and now I’m not really sure what to do. I could post a ton of stuff in the next couple of weeks but I might just cease updates seeing as how they will be deleted in a matter of weeks.

So, what will be done from here? Well, unfortunately I’m going to take the pre-emptive step of deleting all adult content on this blog by the 17th myself. So if you see stuff you want to save SAVE THE PICTURES NOW. I am hoping that if I empty the blog Tumblr won’t bug me and people can still send messages but I can’t guarantee I can get you all the pictures I posted after I delete them. If I can keep the blog name (assuming Tumblr won’t go after me for that too), I will keep it open for updates (non NSFW). Things don’t look good now but I am holding out hope that Tumblr will reverse course next year and I don’t want to lose all my followers.

Another idea could be migrating the blog. If anyone knows a good social media site which would be good for hosting this type of blog please let me know and I can see about moving the blog.

It really sucks that it has to end this way but hopefully Tumblr realizes this is a major fuck up and will backtrack in the coming months. If not, it’s been awesome sharing stuff with and getting to know you guys and I’m sorry it has to stop so abruptly.

Bruh if you’re 16 and you’re on here talking about how you need a daddy or someone to dominate you, like, no…go do your homework and spend time with your friends/family.
